How much is an out-of-hours emergency call-out?
€150 for the first hour, then €95-€110 per hour. If you are more than 30km from our Mullingar base, it is €210-€250 for the first hour, then €120 per hour.
How much does a house rewire cost?
As a guide, a 1-3 bed rewire is €7,500, a 4 bed is €8,500 and a 5 bed or larger starts from €9,500. These prices are a guide only, and a site visit is required before the price is agreed.
How much does a fuse board upgrade cost?
A 2-3 row fuse board with surge protection is €1,699 plus VAT for the board only. If needed, tails are €450-€650, an earth rod €350-€650, hot press bonding €350-€650 and gas boiler earthing €450-€650, all plus VAT.
How much does an EV charger cost to install?
A myenergi Zappi GLO installed is €1,350 VAT inclusive, before the €300 SEAI grant. A meter-cabinet sub-board adds €450 (€1,800 together), and a ground-mounted Zappi on a post is €3,200.
How much does a periodic inspection report (PIR) cost?
A PIR is €425 for a 1-3 bed home, €475 for a 4 bed and from €500 for a 5 bed or larger. This covers the PIR only, and any remedial works found are charged separately.
How do I pay?
Small jobs are paid on completion. Larger jobs need a deposit, then the balance. We do not offer finance.
