Yes. SEAI offers a €600 grant for a 5kWh battery. If you are installing solar panels and a battery together, you can apply for both grants in a single application.
Can I add a battery to my existing solar panels?
Yes. If you already have solar PV, you can apply for the battery grant on its own through the SEAI portal, provided you meet the eligibility criteria at the time.
Why add a battery to solar panels?
Without a battery, surplus solar is exported to the grid. A battery stores it so you can use your own solar power in the evening.

Yes. Bravo Contracts Ltd is a Safe Electric Registered Electrical Contractor, is registered with SEAI and is fully insured. Qualifying work is tested and certified on completion.
How much will my electrical job cost?
Our call-out rate is €95 per hour plus materials. Common jobs such as rewires, fuse board upgrades, EV chargers and PIRs have guide prices on each service page, and commercial and agricultural work is priced after a site visit.
