A 2-3 row fuse board with surge protection is €1,699 plus VAT for the board only. If needed, tails are €450-€650, an earth rod €350-€650, hot press bonding €350-€650 and gas boiler earthing €450-€650, all plus VAT.
When should I upgrade my fuse board?
If your board has old rewireable fuses, no RCD protection, trips often, or you are adding an EV charger, solar or an extension, it is worth having it checked.
How long does a fuse board upgrade take?
Many are completed within a day, depending on what we find when we test the existing circuits.
Are Bravo Contracts Safe Electric registered and insured?
Yes. Bravo Contracts Ltd is a Safe Electric Registered Electrical Contractor, is registered with SEAI and is fully insured. Qualifying work is tested and certified on completion.
How much will my electrical job cost?
Our call-out rate is €95 per hour plus materials. Common jobs such as rewires, fuse board upgrades, EV chargers and PIRs have guide prices on each service page, and commercial and agricultural work is priced after a site visit.
